Following the directives issued by the Prime Minister Scott Morrison concerning the closure of all “places of public worship”, Archbishop Costelloe SDB has directed that all churches and chapels stay closed until further notice.

Therefore, St Mary Star of the Sea Church and Corpus Christi Church will be no longer be accessible for private prayer. All public Masses, and other gatherings for prayer and worship, are suspended until further notice.

In the meantime, we can continue to pray and watch Mass on the television or the internet.

  • Free-to-air television: ‘Mass for you at home’ is shown at 6:00am every Sunday morning on Channel 10.
  • Live streaming: Sunday Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Costelloe SDB and broadcasted live from St Mary’s Cathedral (Perth).

Welcome to the Cottesloe & Mosman Park Catholic Parish website.

This is the Parish for St Mary Star of the Sea Church in Cottesloe and Corpus Christi Church in Mosman Park.

Our Parish Priest is Fr Marcelo Parra and our Assistant Parish Priest is Fr Rodrigo da Costa Ponte, both of whom attended the Redemptoris Mater Seminary.
